Doc completed her DVM in 1991 at the Ontario Veterinary College.  She has extensive experience in small animal emergency medicine and surgery.  She completed a masters degree in epidemiology at the University of Guelph in 2001, which gives her more specialized training in diseases transmitted from animals to people and population medicine.

After practicing for several years in Oakville, Caledon, Brampton and London, Ontario.  Doc established Foothills Veterinary Services in June 2003 at the current farm location where she provides veterinary care to dogs, cats and horses. Doc especially enjoys surgery and emergency medicine and regularly attends conferences, meetings and veterinary related courses.  She has taken several extensive courses in reproduction and ultrasound and she enjoys reading articles and viewing videos on a daily basis to remain up to date on current procedures and treatments.

When not in the hospital she enjoys riding, training and caring for her horses, dogs and cats and actively living the life of a country vet.
