Doc established Foothills Veterinary Services in 2003 and has been providing veterinary care to many patients in the region. We are accepting new Dog and Cat patients. Given the current political crisis we want to assure our client that we are doing our best to provide product and services using Canadian businesses.
Test your pet for Heartworm and Lymes Disease
A small amount of blood is all we need to test your pet. Once we have a negative result you can start the preventative medications. We have several preventative products to choose from to prevent tick and fleas as well as heart worm and Lymes disease.
Rabies in our Area
There have been cases of rabies reported in our region, primarily in bats. Please ensure that your pet is up to date on their rabies vaccine. All pets need an initial rabies shot with a booster within the year. Once they have received the primary shot and booster they require a booster every three years.
